Working on pricing out parts to rebuild my air seeder.
Don’t want to spend what CNH is asking for the the row unit pivot pin so going to make my own. Wanted something a little harder so thought about motor shaft. It’s soft in the middle, hard on the outside.
Can anyone think of any disadvantages of using something this hard on the outside?
