Subject: Round bale moisture question

Driftless SW Wisconsin
I put an agratronix moisture sensor in my 569 baler. In what feels like dry hay the meter in the cab reads 18% or so yet when i take a windrow near the woods it jumps up to high 20s or 30%.

How nuch variation is ok to leave as net wrapped dry hay? The moisture meter reminds me of the first combine yield monitor and how surprising it was to see the wide variations in yield in what appeared to be a uniform Illinois bean field.

This hay is too good to waste. Should i just wrap it? (Inline wrap)?
