South Western, IL | I think we have decided to go with the calmer snapping rolls and it looks like we’ll go with the deere row max chain kit.
By the time you get new chains and our plastic chain guards are wore, you get not too far from the cost of the row max chain kit.
Anyone want to talk me out of this combo? I think it will make a great head out of this 608c. I have never really been that happy with the head so I hope this helps.
Had calmer rolls on a 893 and liked them.
Not sure if the stripper plates are worth it? Might rebuild the factory ones.
