![](/profile/get-photo.asp?memberid=203&type=profile&rnd=277) northeastern Ohio | My son is going to graduate from college this fall with Bachelor of Science in Animal Science. He was supposed to go on a study abroad program, but that was cancelled due to Covid-19.
Since he cannot go on the trip, he needs to find something for "personal growth outside of his major". He needs to find an online course with a live instructor. One of the requirements is that he must be able to interact with the instructor. The school will not reimburse him for the tuition of said course, but will pay for materials required by the course,,,, as long as they are not for personal monetary gain. All the ideas he has submitted so far have been rejected (he is very into woodworking, but the school would not reimburse him for any of the tools he wanted to buy to explore new skills behind the table saw he already has).
He would like to learn about CNC machining and purchase materials related to that. But he is having trouble finding a live instructor. Anyone know of something along these lines?
