| Hey guys we have a 12R30 Geringhoff Elite XL (2013 Model Year, bought it new in 2015 had never been used) folding corn head, we've had it since new, ran it 4 seasons has roughly 10,000 acres on it and will get about 2,500 acres this fall. With a head this age and amount of acres what are you guys changing, just gathering chains and deck plates? Is there a way to flip or adjust knives on the stalk rolls? Also what about sprockets on gathering chains? We want to "rebuild" it because we've noticed a lot of butt shelling out of the head, no matter what position the deck plates are in. Has anyone used Calmer BT or Yield 360 Chain rolls on these heads? If so how do you like them? Thanks in advance! | |
