northeast ohio | The cable which applies pressure to the rolls on the outside end of our NI 5212 broke. Went to put the replacement on and the semi-circle that it runs around would seem to be mounted backwards. Looking for a photo from someone that has the same model to compare or an image from the owners manual. We bought it used, so it easily could have been flipped by the previous owner or dealer when replaced last time it broke. Sorry, I forgot to take a photo before leaving the shop.
The cable connects to the upper roll, runs straight down to the cast semi-circle then back up to a pulley and into a double spring. The cast semi-circle is a large diameter then wraps to a smaller diameter. The knob on the cable suggests it runs to the larger side first, but ours has the larger to the rear which is out of alignment with the connection to the roll.
Thanks in advance for any photos or help. | |
