Subject: silage special roll scrapers.

Frederick, Md
While baling some wheat baleage a few weeks ago I found that my top roller was getting some material build up where the roller and scraper meet. It had gotten hot enough to blacken some of the material and had a burnt smell to it. I checked the specs for the scraper clearance and while I haven't verified I would say that it is certainly adjusted properly.

My question is, is this normal? Should I do something different for next time? Any thoughts are welcome.
