Subject: John Deere 7000 spacing

Coastal South Carolina
Good evening gents.

I need a little help please. I have a 7000 4 row planter. I am trying to get the correct spacing.

I am currently set up on 36 inches. I plan to double plant giving myself 18 inch rows. I would like to plant 100k seed per acre. I am using a 56 cell radial bean meter. I have installed a low population input drive sprocket. According to the spacing chart attached I should use a 24 driver and a 28 driven.

My problem is my planter does not have a 24 tooth drive gear (pic of transmission chart attached) Short of buying a 24 tooth sprocket does anyone know of a combination that will get me real close?

The attached chart is for 18 to 22 inch rows. I have also attached the 36 in row chart.

Thanks
JayWalker
