Northern Illinois | Realize this is late in the season but just got the notification that I will be farming 100 acres this year. It was up in the air for various reasons. 2019 corn and the stalks were not touched last fall. The current plan is to make strips and apply NH3. There appears to be rain in the forecast and it looks potentially rain for a while. As I said the current plan is to make strips and apply NH3. IF it gets to late in the season and a person should be planting the backup plan is to apply 32% and hit the stalks with a Case 330TT. My question is how much of the N do you think will get tied up by the stalks? | |
