Subject: Baling sorghum sudangrass

NW Ohio
First time posting. Tried baling sorghum sudangrass for a neighbor a couple weeks ago. I run a JD 457 Silage Special baler. He mowed it (head tall) and left the windrows laying, I came in 4 days after he mowed it and had all sorts of trouble with it feeding through my baler. Kept plugging up and then a bunch of the stalks started wrapping around my top roll on my baler. I tried it several days later and still had the same trouble. We did find plenty of moisture on the bottom of the windrows, not sure if that had anything to do with it or not. Any ideas on what I did wrong or what went wrong. Is it the baler or the forage? Also, I have baled dry hay with the same baler since. TIA
