Subject: Case IH 4410 Sprayer Boom Cylinders

Strasburg North Dakota
Last year the rear boom cylinder started leaking on our 4410 so we put a kit in it and shortly after it started leaking again. When we took it apart to put the kit in we noticed a lot of wear on the aluminum end piece where the shaft seals are in so we opted for a cnh reman cylinder this time. I installed it tonight and folded the booms in and out a few times. I got out of the cab and there is oil everywhere. Upon inspection of the new cylinder I see that both shaft seals are pushed out. Is there something I'm missing that needs to be done differently with these cylinders or did we just get a bad one? Thanks
