Southern Indiana | Of 1 aspect of my complicated tag ID system.
We have 2 herds of spring calvers across the road from each other. Calves on north side get yellow tags and South gets red. That way I can easily know which bull they are from. Also know which pasture if 1 of the little boogers is out as was the case this morning. Came down the middle of the county road with concerned mama on both sides. Saw the yellow tag so instantly knew where he went. The other mama will bawl if she loses sight of her calf.
Now to find where he got out. The joys of spring just keep unfolding. | |
