Thought I would post what I thought of the atu 300 from John Deere. I finally had a chance to use it putting on NH3 last night and to be real honest. I consider the 300 to be comparable to integrated. It’s quite, it’s very smooth, stays on line perfect, easy to disengage, I would say it’s leaps and bounds better then any other atu (operated them all). Other then the steering wheel moving (much less then the 200) it’s so quite you couldn’t tell the difference between this and integrated (other then the size) speaking of size it is smaller then previous models. Noticeably smaller actually. Steering wheel is more comfortable as well. Maybe a touch smaller?. Instead of setting up sensitivity’s and what not, you now drive slowly and press a calibrate button, it does it’s deal turning right and left until it is fully calibrated(nice feature) when turning on end it gets on line much like integrated where it slowly moves over to the correct tract then stays on the heading, unlike the 200 where it acted like it just did a load of LSD and went nuts for a few feet. I can’t say enough good about it, here is a few pictures.
