Subject: Coulters on planter with row cleaners and fertilizer?

NE Ohio
I'm trying to finish up the reassembly of the new to me planter we bought last year. I stripped it pretty well down and painted, replaced bearings, chains, etc. This is a 7200 planter set up for no till. It has the HD down pressure springs. We typically no till into soybean stubble, but we always seem to do some corn on corn as well. Someone put what looks like brand new coulters on the planter before I bought it. This planter also has single disk 2x2 liquid fertilizer in front. My initial thought was to add row cleaners to clear some of the trash. That seems to be easier said than done. According to Yetter, I need to get the offset kit ($175 each from Shoup) in order to have enough clearance between my fertilizer and row cleaners. Right now, I have about 22" between the face where the row cleaners mount to the liquid fertilizer.

The guy I talked to at Yetter recommended just taking the coulter off and getting floating row cleaners. He says I should see better seed depth consistency by removing the coulters. From reading other posts on here, seems that it isn't the craziest idea out there, which surprised me. I'm still skeptical, but should I be? Has anyone put Yetter row cleaners on their 7200 with coulters and liquid fertilizer?

It seems like these are my options at this point. Any help deciding based on past experience would be appreciated...

1) Leave it as is without row cleaners
2) Remove coulter and put row cleaners on in their place
3) Attempt to squeeze row cleaners around the coulter (I don't think this will work but maybe someone has done it)
4) Buy the offset kits and add row cleaners with the coulters
