SESD | Just looking for some advice. The beginning of Feb I was hauling grain and was hit by a drunk driver. The damage totaled my grain trailer. Their insurance accepted liability. The problem is in the settlement. I don't think I can replace the trailer for what they are offering and have sent comparable trailers that would be nearly 20% higher than the offer, and they haven't changed their offer. The first offer they gave wasn't even for the correct model of trailer. They called and offered more after refiguring and I denied and sent them comparable trailers stating this is what similar trailers are bringing. They didn't change offer and I denied again. I received a letter this morn that says I have 10 days to accept the offer of they well close the claim.
What do you guys have for advice? or what steps to take next? | |
