SC Wisconsin | I have a 27' bin that i bought a sweep auger for bit does not have a motor on it. The flighting is 6 inch on the sweep, discharge auger is an 8 inch. I will most likely end up gearing it down because the discharge auger only runs 1/3 to half full because it is feeding a grinder mixer. I will play with pulley sizes to try and match sweep speed with discharge auger but i think it will be pretty slow therefore reducing hp requirements. Power supply is 208 single phase. Thanks
Edited to add, i could switch it over to 3 phase 208, i would just have to pull 30 feet of wire. Ive never priced a 1 hp motor single ohase vs 3 phase so that might be a cheaper option too, nice to not have to deal with capacitors and such that way
