Subject: Quarry lime analysis continued

The "quarry lime analysis" thread below got me wondering about magnesium. Why is a magnesium test not part of the lime analysis? Is the magnesium level nothing to consider when purchasing lime? My land tests very high in magnesium (283-421 ppm). I have been looking for a quarry with low magnesium.
