Subject: Crop Progress.. Ks still "alot" of wheat to go.. too late now for most.


We're wet.. and the insurance deadline for coverage ends Thursday for us.. It won't even be dry enough by then to do anything else here.

Kansas is 90% planted on Wheat.. vs 98% normally.. on 9 million acres of "intended" that would be 900,000 acres..  No doubt.. part of that may still get in.. or 9 myn intended may be too high..

Oklahoma 84% in vs 95% normal

Texas 80% in vs 86%

Missouri 72% vs 82%

Arkansas 65% vs 82%

Probably all told about 1.5 myn acres at risk.

At coffee this morning.. none of us were done.. 2 out of 5 were gonna do prevented plantings.

Soybeans:

Kansas 74% done vs 90%

Missouri 70% vs 85%

Arkansas 78% vs 93%
