Planted some beans at 100,000 vs 145,000
No weigh wagon so did this with monitor
Total bushels per pass

The 100,000 planted beans were standing perfect right next to a few areas the 145,000 planted beans were lodged over. Same variety, no seed treatment, no fungicide, no aphid spray.
My observation was that the 100,000 population was as good and even better in areas than the 145,000 population

NemaStrike Treated check
2.4 RR2/Ext bean aceleron seed treatment with Nema Strike. 54.7
2.4 RR2/Ext bean aceleron seed treatment without Nema 56.2
1.9 RR2 planted naked. 58.6
My observation, the 2.4 Extend bean were same variety. My 1.9 RR2 bean non treated was better(different brand) It was also the same bean, same field I did the 100,000 pop checks.
Always enjoy reading other yields and plots, so here is some more info to check out. Nothing elaborate but interesting I thought.....
