Subject: Sick cattle, what did I do wrong?


South West MN		I have a group of calves coming down with some sickness. Little history there are 52 ballers by 14 different owners bought from 2 different sale barns. For some reason they cost $150 a head less than western cattle.

1 week latter they are all getting sick. I vaccinated them. Why are they getting sick. Is there anything I can put in the water so I do not have to catch them?

They are also off feed, won’t eat any silage for some reason just hay. Should I put CTC in the silage?
