west central Iowa | It rained all day again and we got a little bit done in the shop. Made another bait station. I weld a welding rod to a 1/4" bolt and put it in the pipe to put the poison chunks on to try to keep the poison in the feeder. Trying to plane down the woodworking bench I made last winter and Dad's old plane had a nick in the blade. So we finally got around to mounting a bench grinder I had from an auction. We welded a receiver tube to the welding table we also made last winter and mounted the grinder to a plate welded to square tube. The grinder didn't have any tool rests so we made a heavy duty one welded on the mount. I got most of the nick ground out of the blade, although it's not a good enough grinder for fine work runs too fast and shakes too much.
