Subject: RE: Down corn in MN

E.Central MN
It takes huge acres of losses to affect the total production in a state let alone national production. I took a drive from Hutch to Lake Mills, Ia the day before the storm. Didn't see more than a field or two of corn harvesting done except silage, a little bean harvest was done. A lot of the beans down that way were still a little green so they will have time for it to dry out. Down corn is a pain to harvest, but doubt the # of acres will be significant compared to the damage a hurricane causes.
