Subject: Spray foam in a silage bag?

SW Wisconsin
I screwed up, trying to figure out how to fix it. Started filling a 8'x200' bag with corn silage, stopped for rain for a couple of days, and the heifers ate a hole in the side of the bag. I could tape it over, but it's a pretty big hole (maybe 1' wide, 3' high) and they ate out behind it. Wondering if anybody's tried filling something like that with a closed-cell spray foam before taping it over. I would obviously have a big plug I would have to dig out, probably by hand, but that wouldn't be that big a deal. The hole is only about 4-5' behind the bagger, cutting the bag off and retyeing would be an option, too.

The corn has plenty of moisture, should ferment well. I'm planning on feeding this bag out from June to December next year, if everything goes according to plan.
