South Central ND | One herd of my cattle decided to go for a stroll while I was at work yesterday and were in my corn field. They were in long enough to do themselves damage. (And the field) this morning I gave bloat block out and found one dead already. I've heard that giving high protein helps to break down the corn faster to pass. Is that true or what should I do short of treating all animals? Mind you these have to be my wildest herd and no place to work them right now as storms have wrecked my facilities. | |
