I fly our Mavic Pro over our horses and cattle all the time, and it doesn't seem to bother them one bit. It's easy to fly....Really easy. By fly, I mean not crash. I'm still working on the settings and my skills to get a good, smooth video. My 10 year old also gets along with it well.
