I think my ag25 succumbed to the water thing. I use it with a cfx750. Can I use an ag15 with it instead of the 25? I do use an ezsteer with it but everything is Waas and don’t plan on using anything else.

Can anybody repair the 25? Thanks.

Main difference between the AG25 and Ag15 are that on a FM750 you can pick up glonass if you either have an unlock or Rangepoint RTX/Centerpoint RTX subscription. On WAAS there shouldn't be no difference.

No repair that I know of. About the only thing you can do is to open it up, let it dry out then give it a try.

How did you open it up? Dremel? Hacksaw?

We held it on it's edge and lightly hammered it until it cracked open.

Yes I've used it with a Envisio Pro II using TerraStar -c and WAAS for the last two years. Here's the spec of the one they shipped to me. http://geo-matching.e-activesites.nl/upload/717-3988-8746.pdf

I did try to find it on the Harxon site and it appears it's been superseded by the GPS600 so Swift may be shipping something different.

Interesting I might have to do some more research into that antennae. Specs show that it should work with rtk but I'm not sure about xfill(trimble's rtk signal loss backup). I am guessing that it falls in one of the other bands listed in the specs but I don't know for sure.

Marking. If that works it is about $800 cheaper.

That’s equivalent of ag25 if I’m reading correct?

Well it works. Not a fan of the underside though.

Are you saying it works the same as an AG 25 ? And how much was it ?

Yes works the same on waas. I don’t use rtk. I’m just using it mowing hay to track how many acres I’ve mowed and right now it’s not very accurate but I also don’t have it mounted properly. Just rolling around in a corner of the floor as I type this. I will make a proper mount and update this post next week.

Was around $219 shipped to ky with tax.

Like I posted earlier, I'm using TerraStar -C which is like Trimbles CenterPoint RTX. Inorder to use this service One Tracks GPS, Glonass and receives a correction data stream from a Geosynchronous Satellite (98W) This data stream is referenced as L band tracking. I would suspect that Trimbles RTK extend service probably uses L band tracking but I'm not a Trimble user so it's just a guess.

The antenna listed in this thread doesn't specifically mention L band tracking but I was willing to roll the dice and experiment. (Works just fine) I wanted to mount this antenna in the same location as Deere uses so the lack of a magnetic base was a non issue and actually in two of the three places I mount antennas the bolt mount was superior.

I’m thinking of torching a piece of plate and leaving a hole for the bolt. Not sure about how to make it magnetic but may just try epoxying some magnets to the base I make and seeing how that holds.

Just get an earth magnet with the right size bolt hole and bolt onto antenna
