I have a John Deere 7130 tractor, and the hood has cracked back where it mounts near the hinges at the rear. JB weld didn't work what type of glue would work best? And I am not buying a new hood yet. Tia

NE WI | Probably need to have it plastic welded. Most adhesives don't stick well to plastic. https://www.harborfreight.com/plastic-welding-kit-with-air-motor-and...

East Central Indiana | After welding or gluing, build it up with fiberglass.

Grandfield, Ok. | On the plastic truck hoods I have found smc resin will bond to the plastic. My thoughts are to use the smc resin with the recommended harder and fiber glass mat will usually hold. Bounce moma Deere for the correct stuff. Freightliner has some body hood glue which might work. When you find the right stiff report back as lots of broken green hoods around. Eastern Arkansas | Grind out the crack, then rivet a piece of steel behind the crack that is around 2 inches bigger than the crack on all sides. Then fill with a body filler with fiberglass resin in it. That is what I have done on my 8420hoods and it seems to work well.

SESD | Auto body supply store will have an epoxy for repairing plastic bumpers, it etches itself into the plastic so it stick permenant and flexes with the plastic. http://www.toolpan.com/3M-Automotive-4240--3M-Duramix-Plastic-Repai...

Nebraska, The land of corn and cattle | I recently bought a hot stapler and plastic welder to fix this kind of stuff, I highly reccomend both, the stapler makes a mechanical connection and the plastic welder just doubles it.
