north central Iowa, Hampton | Cheated the Maytag repairman, and most importantly, the new washing machine salesman tonight. After 30 years, I’ve now had to work on my old Maytag twice! Too bad they didn’t make this thing a little more dependable (grin).
After, I suppose, 12,000 loads, the high speed wire insulation rubbed through and it would trip a breaker starting the spin cycle. Snipped some out, a little solder and a little heat shrink and I’m back in business!
