humboldt iowa | Here it is. I ha e 10 acres of drown out I want to plant to something I can chop this fall.
I talked to a buddy an asked him about sorghum sudan and he said to plant grain sorghum instead.better feed quality
This will be fed to my stock cows this winter in a ration with ground hay.
I do not want to chop corn silage this year as my corn crop is not looking good and will need the grain to sell.
Looking for ideas and opinions on this idea.
If I plant know will,the grain sorghum be good before a frost.
