NW Saskatchewan | Hi all, hoping someone here can help find some parts for this old 1 1/2” water pump.
It was bought new on this farm in 1967 from the long ago defunct Macleod’s hardware chain here in Canada.
It’s powered by a Briggs 6 hp single cyl. which runs like a top, but water is getting into the crankcase which I believe is caused by the failing seal in attached photos. I’m thinking this was probably a mass produced pump marketed under more than one brand name so hoping someone recognizes it and may know where to find the seals. The Briggs seal is already new but the pump seal is missing a few pieces of rubber hence the leak.
I’d sure like to get it in proper working order just for the shear factor it’s old but not worn out.
TIA for any help!
