| I was planning on spreading AMS this spring, but since I won't be spreading any other dry fertilizer, I'm wondering if I can save a trip across the field. Our planter is set up to place starter in furrow. I understand I can't put ATS in furrow. I'm wondering if i can pop the hoses off the lines that place the starter in-furrow, and just dribble a mix of ATS/10-34-00/Zinc above ground. Would it matter if it was 2" to the side and on top of the ground, or do I need to route the hose behind the closing wheels? Is there any problem mixing ATS/10-34-00/Zinc? | |
