Subject: Paraquat corn burndown

SE Kansas
Soybean stubble, no-tilling corn, covered up with cheat, rye, vol wheat, maturing large henbit, rosette sized marestail, and a slug of other winter annuals. Nothing real thick but there is weed pressure. Forecast calls for clear weather through sunday then a week of rain. Want to get it burned down tomorrow, then plant after the rain moves through (10-14 days out)

Was going to burndown with 22oz PowerMax/10oz 24D, then I got to pondering the paraquat route. Plan to 3pts paraquat, 4 oz of sencor (just in case it gets late and we can't plant corn), 1% v/v NIS., & 20GPA.

Am i crazy to think that route or should I stick with the Rup/24D?

Will come back at planting with 1.5lbs atrazine, 4oz Balance Flexx, 22GPA UAN, so that will take care of any new emergering weeds. Want to make darn good sure that marestail especially along with the rest of the weeds are smoked good for once and and final. Hung up if the paraquat will get the marestail, grasses, larger vol. wheat.
