We've had 2 of the John Deere grease guns over the last 10 years and love them. I have nothing bad to say about them. They work great.

Our jd gun is 5 or 6yrs old I think, it's Almiet clone, 14.4 batteries. I need new trigger for mine and batteries getting tired. Batteries plus is lots cheaper than deere for those. We did however just get a new Milwaukee gun and it's awesome. The high range low range is neat and also like the trigger lock on feature. Oh and you can tell it how many pumps to give per trigger pull.

The Milwaukee M18 is $269 includes case, battery & charger

The John Deere 20v is $435 includes case, battery & charger

Only thing Deere model has over Milwaukee is a grease level monitor.

I have a Dewalt and like it. Just know which ever one you choose will be empty when you go to get it!

I have a Milwalkee 18v, they don't make a 20v as far as I know I also have a 18v Dewault & son has a 20v Dewault. Neither compare to the Milwalkee IMO. Greased our backhoe the other day for the 1st time using the Milwalkee, usually at least 2-3 zerks that won't take grease. No problems with the Milwalkee.
