.5 ecc is pretty low. With .65 lime around here I try to max out at 2-2.5 ton. So you could probably go up to 3. That being said, if you think you need 5 total...splitting at 2.5 makes for easy math. I’d do 2.5, sample in a couple years and apply more based on your findings
