Eastern Kansas
1st calf heifers calving. 1 calved tonight about 7:30. I let her clean him off while i finished chores. It was about 9 before i got him in the truck. I thought he was pretty weak but figured he'd come out of it. But he didnt. Quit breathing about 15 mins ago. I think something musta been wrong with him. Surely he'd have been alright for that long? Its 5 deg out right now.
