swohio | As I keep looking for a replacement semi, have came across a decent 96 IH 8600. N14, runs well and truck frame and so forth pretty good shape. Outside part of cab looks good, but underneath it is getting fairly rusty. Anywhere salt can get its working on it. I know about steel cabs, but not sure a newer truck w/alum cab can be in my budget. Anyone try to stop this type of rust or is it just a loss cause. Not real easy to get to the underside of the cab, I'm not getting younger either to work on hard to get to spots. Thanks. | |
