Subject: JD 6430 Hydraulic Problem

Iowa
I've got a 6430 non premium. I was having some hard steering and slow hydraulics. I drained the oil, cleaned the suction screen, replaced the filters. The hydraulic element filter had metal shavings in the canister. Filled reservoir with oil and started tractor. I didnt have any steering, scvs or 3 pt. Shut it off and restarted leaving it run long enough to fill everything but still nothing. Tractor would move and had brakes. I pulled the canister with the hydraulic filter element and there was zero oil in it. I pulled the cap off the back under 3rd link and the shaft is spinning. I removed the hydraulic pump and disassembled. The pump bushings are fried and housing is ate up. I was wondering if there is a charge pump underneath where the pump mounts? AL212807 is on the parts breakdown and description is oil pump. I turned engine over and hydraulic pump drive is turning.
