Montana | Cowboys and Tractors
A Cowboy on a tractor can be a dreadful thing
He may not watch close enough when warnings blink or ding
I love the heat and radio and air ride active seat
Sometimes my mind may drift a bit while planting fields to wheat
Auto Steer brings joy to me and Straight rows on the land
I just sit and watch for trouble- with Trimble in command
Triangle Ag has helpful folks selling Trimble to Cowboys
So we can sit inside our tractor using high tech toys
Cattle grazing on the slopes I watch them move and roam
My mount a big old green John Deere and not a feisty Roan
If I see a problem I have my hand held phone
I call my help to move or lead Or bring a stray one home.
Honda Ranchers are our choice for moving we have to do
But this old Cowboy on an ATV can have some crashes too
The life we live has changed a lot over my time of 62 years
Lots of fun, life and love along with some Cowboy tears
If I could live my life over, there are things that I might change
But I would still be a rancher
Farming and managing range.
