West Central Illinois | I found a guy that was selling out so I bought his entire herd of 13 Boer does ranging from 8 months to 5 years old. All seemed well for the first 3 weeks or so until Sunday night. Came home and one of the 8 month olds was extremely lethargic. Took her to the vet and he diagnosed her with barber pole worms. Then, treated her with 2 types of oral dewormer that I can't think of right now. She is eating and drinking a little. My question is, what else should I do to help her recovery? Also, how would you treat the remainder of the herd ? I've only had goats for 1 1/2 years so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you | |
