“These are the times that try men's souls.” | Here are some pics of weaning this year. I remember reading on here about a wean gate, so I showed video to neighbors. We built this one about three years I think, if I'm right. It works great, calves think they are getting away. We sort cows off a horseback. We did 1,400 hd. in two hours. We had got a rain the night before. Been raining here all night, over a 1" so far. Still coming, one thing about it, no dust which is a good thing for a change. I thought I better add a few pics of some red cows, things get a little too black at times.
