Illinois | We raise some specialty soybeans that are suppose to be fairly clean of weed seed. This year we have some fields with considerable water hemp pressure. What method is efficient for screening the water hemp seeds out of the soybeans before we auger them into the bin ? A drum style grain cleaner would probably be slow and excessive, and it seems that we would end up with a lot of cleanout including soybean splits that we would typically be able to sell. Would a 6 or 8 foot perforated screen on an auger as we load the bin eliminate most of the water hemp seeds ? TIA
