North Central Iowa | The evaporator behind the seat in my 8300 has a tendency to freeze up when it's warm outside. I put a new condenser in it about four years ago. It was evacuated and recharged with correct amount of R134 by weight. The service manager at the local Deere dealership told me it's a major project to clean it correctly so I just shut off the A/C and sweat it out until air starts blowing through the evaporator again. Then it works fine for a few hours. Is there an easy way to clean the evaporator without tearing half the tractor apart? | |
