Subject: JD 4455, hydraulic oil in engine question.

West Central Wisconsin
C-1 pack in 4455 power shift rebuilt last month and they replaced rear main also. Had to add about 1 gallon of hydraulic oil after first day of chopping corn and two gallons on the second full day of chopping corn. Engine oil way over full about an inch and a quarter on stick. Called service dept told me they would stand behind replacing seal and to drain engine oil down to full mark on stick. Drained out a good gallon and a half. After about four hours of chopping engine oil back up 1-1/4" on stick and hydraulic level low. Going to drain all of engine oil in morning and refill. My question; if I run hydraulic oil low on the stick, (where it's at now), will hydraulic oil still get into engine? I'm wondering if the hydraulic level might be below the rear main seal and not transfer into the engine at the current level. Your thoughts?
