Southeast Wisconsin | On Friday I bought short dated 940 soybean puts for 5.5 cents. Had a feeling report would be negative and was correct. I sold those calls today for 7 cents when the market was down 15 cents. For a hole 1.5 cent profit.
I understand I had a lot of volatility priced in given the put a expire in 10 days. What tools do you use to trade around a report? Puts and calls just don't seem to be the answer for me or should I have gone to a longer dated option? | |
