Kingdom of Callaway - Fulton, Mo 65251 | I bought a 1590 JD drill at a farm auction, and I did not get a monitor with it. I was told they used the same monitor as their corn planter used, and it went with the planter. western iowa,by Denison | I would just buy a loup moniter-we have run 750 then 1590 drills-the loup moniter is by far a better deal-simple to install and very accurate-on small jobs we don't hook anything up just look back and see that the seed cups have seed coming out-one of the simplist pieces of machinery I own-always a pleasure to run them-we ended up with 10 inch spacing as the units have more room between them-we use it to seed beans, rye, wheat and oats

West Union, IOWA FLOLO Farm 52175 | You can use a 100/150 too.....just need to make sure you have 37pin..... Them are just simple flow monitors..... For all the others mentioned..... IIRC you need ground speed via radar/gps ?

Agree look just like the go/ no go ones on 4 of my drops on the 750. Mainly just to make sure both halves of drill are turning and dropping seed a simple Computer Trak 150 works fine for this purpose.

Kingdom of Callaway - Fulton, Mo 65251 | daltongeb - 8/31/2017 08:25 What kind of hitch do you have for your semi? How do you like it, what would you change? Good morning Dalton, It is a Retriever brand, made by the Bestway sprayer company. We love everything about it except the price, but even that is long forgotten now that we have gotten spoiled with using it. We use it all the time. I have thought about buying a long wheel base road tractor with the sleeper removed and adding a flatbed between the fifth wheel and the cab. That would be nice so we could haul small items at the same time, and keep it mounted on a dedicated truck. The only thing I would change is I would go ahead and buy the parking stands and make a set of fenders for it. I lost a mirror pulling that drill home on the gravel road leaving the place from a rock thrown up. The truck we usually use it on has fenders and this one does not. Without the parking stands, it is kind of a two man job to take it on and off. With two guys, its only five minutes to remove it. The local CaseIH dealer has one and they have the stands for it, which would be nice if you are by yourself. We bought the extra drawbar they sell for pulling two point equipment like a big planter. The standard machine comes with what you need to pull two point equipment, but the optional drawbar lets us raise it a lot higher which is a big help keeping things level and off the ground. The thing is very well made, we have had zero problems with it, and it has pulled some terrible loads. I haven't really needed much service assistance, but I needed a wiring diagram when we switched to using a different truck so that the truck would keep the onboard battery charged. They are really a great company to deal with - very good on the phone, they know what they are talking about, and they had an engineer call me right back with the wiring info I needed. They also sell one that runs off a wet kit so you don't have to have a 12 volt pump, but we like the one we bought that is self contained so you can use it on any road tractor. We had a homemade hydraulic hitch that we used before we bought this, and it worked okay, but we threw rocks at it after we bought this thing. It also has outlets so you can hook up the hoses on an implement to raise and lower it if necessary.
