I have run out of computers to run the free trial of Ag Leader SMS basic that allows me to create a clean thumbdrive for my Pro700 with all my fields and AB lines from my trimble FM1000. I don't want to spend $750 for SMS or $950 for farmworks to do this every fall. Is there any other software or way to do this? I guess I could buy a cheap computer and download the free trial on to it, but that seems crazy. Edited by evil lanky me 8/29/2017 09:27

Since version version 30.11 of PRO700 Autoguidance software it will let you import Trimble lines directly without going through desktop software. You will need to put the AgGPS folder on the thumb drive then you have to go to Data Management> Import2 and select what you want to import.

But why does it bring in all the deleted lines over the years? Am I doing something wrong? Tmx to pro 700

Tmx to pro 700 It will bring in whatever lines it sees in the AgGPS folder on your USB stick, so if the TMX display isn't deleting the lines from the USB, then they're still available for the Pro 700 to import.

roaming | NDFARMER95 - 8/31/2017 10:59 Okay so how do I get them to delete off the USB stick? Did you copy files from the display to the stick after you deleted? Otherwise the stick will still have the lines, even though they've been deleted from the display memory.

I put the stick in when I want the guidance lines and copy them, otherwise just use the display memory. Should I be doing it differently? Unless you copy from the display memory to the USB, the USB doesn't know anything has changed. So after you delete the lines using the TMX, you need to copy from the display to the USB. That should give the USB stick an updated copy of your lines, removing the deleted ones and adding any new ones. Then you can go to the Pro 700. Remember that the Pro 700 will still have the older (now deleted lines) because they were imported already.
