New Iberia la (Cajun country) | Ok let me explain, we currently have a 2188 and a 1020 25' flex with a crary air reel. We inherited a 2388 that hasn't been in use for 3 years. 15000 in parts later we are good to go with that machine. The 2388 doesn't have a field tracker and floaters on the front and rear. I was trying to find another 1020 25ft flex header with a crary reel but I am having a tough time finding one for a decent price. I started looking at Deere 635 flex heads and I can find them a lot easier for a more reasonable price IMO. I know i would need the Lakota and headsight kits to make it work. That's around 5000.00. A 3rd lift cylinder would be needed also. What about auger length? I have the 208" unload auger. From what I've read the weak point on the feeder house was the field tracker cylinder. This machine doesn't have it so I think that may be a plus. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks. |
