West central Ohio | I have a kinze 3600 16/31 for a bean planter. I'm wanting to know if anyone has ever wired up a "master switch" that shuts off both sections of the planter.
Reason being, when i raise the planter to turn around, every row leaves 10-15 seeds on top of the ground. A switch to turn the whole planter off would eliminate this.
Also doing this, i can be more accurate on the ends preventing areas that are double planted.
Before anyone suggests it, no I'm not stopping on the ends. Having those beans in a pile does me no good either.
So if anyone has done this, I'd like to know what you did to accomplish it. Thanks in advance.
Edit - spelling. And would the standard clutches hold up to being turned on/ off that many times a day?
