Iowa | I have an air to air system and reason I put in was I have solar system and the heat pump gives me a way of using up carryover electric credits. They also tried to sell me a heat pump because they are really efficient. But problem is even though they might be 100% effient, they still use a more expensive energy then does my LP furnace which is my primary heat system. Their are apps that will help you figure that comparison out real quick depends on number of btu's generated compared to cost of the fuel. | |
