Earlier in the year, I decided to run a few passes with the cultivator to see if it made any difference in yield. I posted it back in June http://talk.newagtalk.com/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=57462&post...

Anyway, there wasn't any statistical difference when averaged. I have attached pics of two passes. The rest of the passes produced essentially the same results. The first two passes of each (yes & no) yielded 188.15 bpa for cultivation, and 189.75 bpa for no cultivation.

Anyway, here are the pics:

Here is the summary:

Cultivator - 189.6 bpa & 186.7 bpa ---- avg 188.15 bpa

No Cultivator - 183.1 bpa & 196.4 bpa ---- avg 189.75

Result - No benefit to cultivating, at least in this one instance and one location.
